About Mary Agnew
Mary Agnew became Deputy Director of the Francis Implementation Team in June 2012. She leads a small DH team who work with organisations from across the system to take forward the findings of the Francis Inquiry and support the NHS in delivering consistently safe and compassionate care.
Previous roles include:
- Deputy Director, Department of Health Strategy Group
- Development of the 2007 stroke strategy
